TCG Rulings
- You cannot activate this card if you don’t have at least 1 card in your hand.[1]
- If Macro Cosmos is active when this card resolves, you remove the card in your hand from play instead of sending it to the Graveyard.[1]
OCG Rulings
- Unless there is at least 1 face-up "Naturia" monster in your Monster Zone, you cannot activate "Exterio's Fang" itself.[2]
- It is activated directly in Chain to an activated opponent's Spell/Trap Card. (It cannot be activated in Chain to the activation of the effect of a Continuous Spell/Trap Card/etc.)[2]
- It can be activated even during the Damage Step.[2]
- Performing "Negate the activation of an opponent's Spell/Trap Card and destroy it" and "Then, send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard" are not treated as being done at the same time.[2]
