OCG Rulings

  • The effect of this card that increases the Levels of “F.A.” monsters on your field by 2 during the Battle Phase only does not start a Chain.[1]
  • The effect of this card that lets you draw 1 card starts a Chain. (It does not target.)[1]
  • This effect can be activated optionally at the end of the Damage Step when an “F.A” monster in your Monster Zone destroys an opponent’s monster by battle.[1]
  • The effect of this card that adds an “F.A.” card from your Deck to your hand starts a Chain. (It does not target, and can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]

Q&A Rulings

A: In this scenario, since the effect of each player’s "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" is applied, the Levels of “F.A.” monsters on the field increase by 4 during the Battle Phase. For example, if "F.A. Sonic Meister" was Level 4 at the end of Main Phase 1, it will be Level 8 during that Battle Phase. When the Battle Phase ends and you proceed to Main Phase 2, its Level returns to 4.[2]
A: In this scenario, even if your “F.A.” battled a monster with equal ATK and both were destroyed, you can activate the effect of "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" that lets you draw a card.[3]
