Q&A Rulings
- Q: "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" is face-up in both players’ Field Zones, and "F.A. Sonic Meister" is face-up in my Monster Zone. When I conduct my Battle Phase, what Level will "F.A. Sonic Meister" become?
- A: In this scenario, since the effect of each player’s "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" is applied, the Levels of “F.A.” monsters on the field increase by 4 during the Battle Phase. For example, if "F.A. Sonic Meister" was Level 4 at the end of Main Phase 1, it will be Level 8 during that Battle Phase. When the Battle Phase ends and you proceed to Main Phase 2, its Level returns to 4.[2]
- Q: "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" is face-up in my Field Zone. In this situation, when I enter my Battle Phase, the Level of my "F.A. Sonic Meister" is increased by 2, and its ATK becomes 1800. If it battles my opponent’s "True King Bahrastos, the Fathomer" with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed by battle, can I activate the effect of "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" that draws a card?
- A: In this scenario, even if your “F.A.” battled a monster with equal ATK and both were destroyed, you can activate the effect of "F.A. Circuit Grand Prix" that lets you draw a card.[3]
