- This card's effect that activates when it is Normal Summoned is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]

- This effect can be activated optionally when this card is Special Summoned face-up. (It can also be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]

- A: If the number of cards in your opponent's Deck is less than the number of cards on their field, you cannot activate the first effect of "Firebrand Hymnist". Also, if the number of cards in your Deck is less than the number of cards on your field, you cannot activate the second effect of "Firebrand Hymnist".[2]
- Q: If the number of cards in my opponent's Deck is less than the number of cards on their field when resolving the first effect of "Firebrand Hymnist", what happens?
