Q&A Rulings
- Q: I Fusion Summoned a "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" using 2 copies of "Gravekeeper's Oracle" as materials. Afterward, if my opponent activates "Skill Drain", what happens to the ATK/DEF of "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist"?
- A: In this scenario, when "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" was Fusion Summoned, its ATK/DEF were each increased to 4000 by its own effect, but when the effect of "Skill Drain" is applied, it loses the ATK/DEF it gained. ("Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" returns to having 2000 ATK/DEF.) Even if the effect of "Skill Drain" stops applying afterward, "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" does not regain that ATK/DEF.[2]
- Q: During my Main Phase, I activate the effect of "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" that adds a "Gravekeeper's" monster or "Necrovalley" card from my Deck to my hand during this turn's End Phase. If "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" is destroyed by a card effect and leaves the field before the End Phase, will its effect be applied?
- A: If the effect of "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" was activated successfully during your Main Phase and was not negated, it will be applied normally during the End Phase even if "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist" itself is no longer on the field at that time.[3]
