TCG Rulings

  • This effect is still resolved, even if you have 1 or more cards in hand when it resolves.[1]
  • Even if the target "Infernity" monster is no longer in your Graveyard when this card resolves, you will still destroy the attacking monster.[1]

OCG Rulings

  • This card can be activated when a face-up "Infernity" monster in your Monster Zone is targeted for an attack by an opponent's monster while you have no cards in your hand.[2]
  • It can be activated not only when a face-up "Infernity" monster in your Monster Zone is targeted for an attack during an attack declaration, but also when a face-up "Infernity" monster in your Monster Zone is targeted for an attack caused by a replay.[2]
  • The effect targets a total of 2 monsters: the 1 opponent's attacking monster and 1 "Infernity" monster in your Graveyard.[2]
  • Destroying the attacking monster and Special Summoning are considered to happen at the same time.[2]
  • The effect is applied as usual even if you no longer have 0 cards in your hand when the effect resolves.[2]
  • Q: When resolving the effect of "Infernity Force", can you Special Summon 1 "Infernity" monster from your Graveyard even if you cannot destroy the monster that declared an attack?
    Also, when resolving the effect of "Infernity Force", can you destroy the monster that declared an attack even if the "Infernity" monster is no longer in your Graveyard?
A: When resolving the effect of "Infernity Force", you cannot Special Summon the "Infernity" monster from your Graveyard if you cannot destroy a monster. Also, you can destroy the monster that declared an attack even if the "Infernity" monster is no longer in your Graveyard.[3]
