Card Rulings:Light Spiral
OCG Rulings
- You can activate only the card "Light Spiral" at any time except during the Damage Step.[1]
- The effect "Each time a card(s) is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard by the effect of a "Lightsworn" monster, remove from play the top card of your opponent's Deck." uses a Chain Link. (It does not target.)[1]
- The effect "remove from play the top card of your opponent's Deck." always activates each time a card(s) is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard by the effect of a "Lightsworn" monster. (It activates even during the Damage Step.)[1]
- You cannot activate the card "Light Spiral" in the same Chain Link as the effect "remove from play the top card of your opponent's Deck."[1]

These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
