Q&A Rulings
- Q: "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" is face-up in my opponent’s Spell & Trap Zone, and my "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave" is in my Main Monster Zone in the same column. In this situation, if my opponent activates the effect of "Valhalla. Hall of the Fallen" and Special Summons a Fairy-Type monster from their hand, can I activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave" and draw 2 cards?
- A: The effect of "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave" can be activated when a Spell/Trap Card is activated in the same column as that "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave". Therefore, when the effect of a face-up "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" is activated from the same column, you cannot activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave".[1]
- Q: My opponent activates "Raigeki Break" in the same column as my face-up "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave", and destroys it. In this case, can I activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave"?
- A: In this scenario, although "Raigeki Break" was activated in the column "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave" was in, since "Magical Musketeer Kidbrave" was destroyed by the effect, you cannot activate its effect afterward.[2]
