- Q: "Mythical Institution" is face-up in my Spell & Trap Zone. In this situation, if a "Mythical Beast Master Cerberus" in my Pendulum Zone is destroyed by a card effect, does "Mythical Institution" gain Spell Counters with its effect?
- A: The effect of "Mythical Institution" that places Spell Counters on it when a "Mythical Beast" Monster Card is destroyed by battle or card effect also applies if a Pendulum Monster in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed. (Not only when monster like "Mythical Beast Master Cerberus" in your Pendulum Zone are destroyed by "Mystical Space Typhoon", but also when destroyed by its own Pendulum Effect.)[1]
