While "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" is in my Graveyard, if I activate the second effect of "Nephthys, the Sacred Preserver", but my opponent chains "Vanity's Emptiness", how does the effect resolve?
- A: In this scenario, if the effect of "Vanity's Emptiness" is applying, the effect of "Nephthys, the Sacred Preserver" is not applied. (No part of the effect is applied, including destroying a "Nephthys" monster it points to.)[2]
