OCG Rulings
- Detaching 2 Xyz Materials is a cost.[1]
- This effect targets 1 face-up monster your opponent's controls. Also it keep targeting that monster afterwards.[1]
- This effect cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- If "Number 106: Giant Hand" effect is applied to a "Exiled Force" and that "Exiled Force" activates its effect, since "Exiled Force" Tributed itself as a cost, it is no longer targeted by the effect of "Number 106: Giant Hand". As a result, the effect of "Exiled Force" resolves normally.[2]
- If at the time of the resolution of the effect of "Number 106: Giant Hand", "Book of Moon" is activated so that the targeted Effect Monster is flipped face-down, the effects of that monster are not negated, and it can still change its Battle Position.[3]
- If at the time of the resolution of the effect of "Number 106: Giant Hand", "Compulsory Evacuation Device" is activated so that the targeted Effect Monster leaves the field, the effects of that monster are not negated.[4]
- When the effect of "Number 106: Giant Hand" is activated, you can target a different monster than the one that has activated its effect.[5]
