- Q: I activate the effect of "Number 71: Rebarian Shark", targeting a "Number 73: Abyss Splash" in my Graveyard. If my opponent chains "Compulsory Evacuation Device" and returns "Number 71: Rebarian Shark" to my Extra Deck, how does its effect resolve?
- A: In this scenario, if "Number 71: Rebarian Shark" is no longer on the field when its effect resolves, the targeted monster is still Special Summoned from the Graveyard, but no Xyz Materials are attached to it. (In this case, "Number 73: Abyss Splash" is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, but will have no Xyz Materials.)[1]
