OCG Rulings
- The "look at a number of cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the Level of the sent monster" effect can be activated without detaching any Xyz Material.[1]
- Sending 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand or face-up from your side of the field to the Graveyard is a cost to activate the "look at a number of cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the Level of the sent monster" effect. (You cannot send an Xyz Monster or a Token Monster to the Graveyard.)[1]
- Detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card is a cost to activate the "choose a number from 1 to 3, then excavate that many cards from the top of your Deck" effect.[1]
- The "look at a number of cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the Level of the sent monster, then place them on the top of the Deck in any order." effect and the "choose a number from 1 to 3, then excavate that many cards from the top of your Deck" effect do not target.[1]
