Card Rulings:Phantom Hand
TCG Rulings
- If you remove all the cards from your hand with Phantom Hand but Phantom Hand is no longer on the field or is negated during your Standby Phase, your cards will still be returned to your hand.[1]
- If you activate the effect of Phantom Hand during your turn and again during your opponent's turn, the cards removed by each activation will come back separately, not at the same time.[1]
- If you do not control an "Infernity" monster when Phantom Hand resolves, you cannot remove the cards in your hand.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The activation of the card "Phantom Hand" can be performed at any time, except during the Damage Step.[2]
- You can activate the card "Phantom Hand" even if you control no face-up "Infernity" monsters in your Monster Zone.[2]
- The effect that banishes all cards in your hand until your next Standby Phase starts a Chain Link. (It does not target. It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)[2]
- The effect of "Phantom Hand" can be activated if you control a face-up "Infernity" monster in your Monster Zone. (The effect is not applied if you control no face-up "Infernity" monsters in your Monster Zone when the effect resolves.)[2]
- Returning your cards banished by this card's effect to the hand does not start a Chain Link. (After banishing all cards in your hand, they are returned to the hand even if "Phantom Hand" is no longer on the field.)[2]
