TCG Rulings
- The effect that destroys all other monsters will activate even if “Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode” is destroyed by battle.[1]
- You cannot Special Summon a Synchro Monster that was sent directly to the Graveyard and was never properly Summoned.[1]
- The last effect targets the “Red Dragon Archfiend” in the Graveyard.[1]

- Crimson Fire: If you control “Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode” but not “Red Dragon Archfiend,” you cannot activate “Crimson Fire.”
OCG Rulings
- "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" is a Special Summon Monster that can only be Special Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate". Even if this card is sent to the Graveyard after being Special Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate", it cannot be Special Summoned by the effect of "Monster Reborn".[2]
- The effect that destroys all other monsters after damage calculation is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. It activates even if this card is destroyed by battle.)[2]
- The effect that Special Summons 1 "Red Dragon Archfiend" is a Trigger Effect. (It targets 1 "Red Dragon Archfiend" in your Graveyard. It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[2]
- This effect cannot target a "Red Dragon Archfiend" that was sent directly from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, nor a "Red Dragon Archfiend" whose Syncho Summon was negated.[2]

- A: Even if a face-down Defense Position "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" etc. on the field is destroyed by a card effect, you can activate its effect that Special Summons "Red Dragon Archfiend" etc. from your Graveyard.[3]
- Q: If "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" etc. is destroyed and banished by the effect of "Bottomless Trap Hole", can you Special Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend" etc. from your Graveyard?
- A: Even if "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" etc. is destroyed and banished, you can Special Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend" etc. from your Graveyard.[4]
