TCG Rulings
- This card targets the Dragon-Type Synchro Monster. [1]
- If the target monster is not in the Graveyard when this card resolves, the entire effect disappears. [1]
- If you no longer have the appropriate monsters to remove when this card resolves, the entire effect disappears. [1]
- You cannot Summon a "Stardust Dragon" that was Summoned by "Starlight Road". [1]
OCG Rulings
- You cannot target a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster that was not properly summoned by its regular summoning condition.[2]
- The effects to banish monster(s) from your Graveyard, and Special Summon the target are resolved simultaneously.[2]
- If you cannot banish monsters from your Graveyard to equal the Level of any Dragon-Type Synchro Monsters in your Graveyard, you cannot activate "Stardust Shimmer".[2]
