Q&A Rulings
- Q: A "Swamp Mirrorer" treated as a LIGHT Dragon monster by its own effect and a "Starliege Seyfert" are face-up in my Monster Zone. In this situation, when activating the effect of "Starliege Seyfert" that adds a Dragon monster from my Deck to my hand, can I send "Swamp Mirrorer" to the GY for the cost?
- A: The effect of "Starliege Seyfert" adds a Dragon monster from your Deck to your hand whose Level is equal to the total original Levels of the monsters sent from your field/hand to the GY as the cost. Therefore, in this scenario, you cannot include "Swamp Mirrorer" in the cost, because it is originally a Trap Card.[2][3]
