OCG Rulings

• The effect that excavates the top card of your Deck is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. It activates at the end of the Damage Step.)
• This effect cannot be activated at the end of the Damage Step if "Sylvan Bladefender" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.
• The effect that adds this card to your hand is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. It can be activated even during the Damage Step.)
• Even if "Sylvan Bladefender" is excavated from the Deck and sent to the Graveyard while the effect of "Necrovalley" is being applied, the effect of "Sylvan Bladefender" is applied as usual.
