OCG Rulings

  • This card targets 1 face-up Synchro Monster in your opponent's Monster Zone.[1]
  • A Synchro Monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by this effect is not properly Synchro Summoned.[1]
  • You cannot Special Summon a Synchro Monster that must be Special Summoned by Synchro Summon, such as "Star Eater".[1]
  • This card cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]

A: In this scenario, the targeted "Mighty Warrior"'s original Level is 6, but since its Level was reduced by 1 by the effect of "Star Changer", you must Special Summon a Level 6 Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck with the effect of "Synchro Transcend".[2]
  • Q: I Special Summoned a "Stardust Warrior" with the effect of "Synchro Transcend". If that "Stardust Warrior" is destroyed by battle or my opponent's card effect that turn and sent to the Graveyard, can I activate its effect that Special Summons a Level 8 or lower "Warrior" Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck?
A: A Synchro Monster Special Summoned by the effect of "Synchro Transcend" cannot activate its effects that turn, as long as it remains face-up on the field.
