OCG Rulings
- "The Second Sarcophagus" is a Spell Card that cannot be activated.[1]
- "The Second Sarcophagus" cannot be Set from the hand to the Spell & Trap Zone during your Main Phase.[1]
- "The Second Sarcophagus" cannot be Set in the Spell & Trap Zone by the effect of "Dust Tornado".[1]
- "The Second Sarcophagus" cannot be placed on the field as a Monster Card by the effect of "Magical Hats".[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. Mentions in Other Rulings
- The First Sarcophagus: If you have multiple copies of "The First Sarcophagus", each will have its own "Second Sarcophagus" and "Third Sarcophagus". So if you have 2 of "The First Sarcophagus", you will have 2 of "The Second Sarcophagus" on the field. If you Special Summon "Spirit of the Pharaoh" or if 1 of the Sarcophagi is removed from the field, all Sarcophagi cards are sent to the Graveyard.
