• Q: If "The Weather Painter Thunder" has gained the effect of returning a battling monster to the hand at the start of the Damage Step from "The Weather Thundery Canvas", can that effect be activated when "The Weather Painter Thunder" battles a Token monster?

A: Even if a "The Weather" monster that has gained this effect from "The Weather Thundery Canvas" battles an opponent's Token, you can activate that effect at the start of the Damage Step. In this case, the Token disappears when it leaves the field, so it is not returned to the hand.

• Q: Can the effect of a "The Weather" monster gained from "The Weather Thundery Canvas" be activated when it battles an opponent's Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster?

A: Even if your "The Weather" monster that gained the effect from "The Weather Thundery Canvas" battles an opponent's Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster, you can activate that effect at the start of the Damage Step. In that case, the opponent's monster returns to the Extra Deck instead of the hand.
