OCG Rulings

• Returning materials from your field, Graveyard, or that are banished to the Deck, and Fusion Summoning the corresponding Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck do not happen simultaneously.

• The effect of this card that adds a Thunder-Type monster from your Deck to your hand is an effect that activates in the Graveyard, and starts a Chain. (It does not target, and you can only activate it during your Main Phase.)

• Banishing this card from your Graveyard is the cost to activate this effect.

A: When Fusion Summoning with the effect of "Thunder Dragon Fusion", you can use a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster as Fusion Material. For example, if you are Fusion Summoning "Gem-Knight Prismaura", which requires a "Gem-Knight" monster and a Thunder-Type monster as Fusion Materials, you can use "Gem-Knight Phantom Quartz" and "Lightning Chidori" as the materials. In that case, both "Gem-Knight Phantom Quartz" and "Lightning Chidori" return to the Extra Deck, but "Gem-Knight Prismaura" is Fusion Summoned normally.
