Q&A Rulings
- Q: The effect of my "Maxx "C"" is applying this turn. When my opponent activates "Scapegoat" and Special Summons Sheep Tokens, and I draw "Token Collector" due to the effect of "Maxx "C"", can I activate the effect of "Token Collector" that Special Summons it?
- A: In this scenario, when the effect of "Scapegoat" finishes resolving and the Tokens are successfully Special Summoned, "Token Collector" will be present in your hand, so you can activate its effect.[2]
- Q: "Black Garden" is face-up in the Field Zone. In this situation, when I Normal Summon "Token Collector", will the effect of "Black Garden" activate?
- A: The effect of "Black Garden" will activate even when "Token Collector" is Normal Summoned. However, since the effect of "Token Collector" prevents Tokens from being Special Summoned, the effect of "Black Garden" halves its ATK but the Rose Token is not Special Summoned.[3]
