Q&A Rulings
- Q: My "Unchained Soul of Rage" and my opponent's "Tatsunoko" are face-up in the Extra Monster Zones. In this situation, during my opponent's Main Phase, can I activate the effect of "Unchained Soul of Rage" by targeting my opponent's "Tatsunoko"?
- A: In this scenario, you can target your opponent's face-up Tatsunoko with the effect of "Unchained Soul of Rage". In that case, since "Tatsunoko" is unaffected by monster effects, it will not be used as a material and the Link Summon is not performed. ("Unchained Soul of Rage" also remains in the Monster Zone.)[2][3]
