OCG Rulings
- If this card is equipped with a monster by another card's effect, the destruction effect is not activated in that case.[1]
- Detaching a Xyz Material is a cost.[1]
- If Vylon Disigma is equipped with multiple monsters by its own effect, when it battles with a monster with an Attribute that corresponds to the Equip cards, the effect is activated.Also, if it battles Light and Darkness Dragon, by having either a LIGHT or DARK monster equipped, Vylon Disigma's effect is activated.[2]
- If Vylon Disigma is equipped with a DARK Monster and it battles Ally of Justice Catastor:
- If Vylon Disigma attacks, Vylon Disigma's effect is chain 1, and Ally of Justice Catastor's effect is chain 2. Ally of Justice Catastor's effect destroys Vylon Disigma. Then, at the time of the resolution of Vylon Disigma's effect, its Equip cards are no longer on the field, so Ally of Justice Catastor is not destroyed.
- If Ally of Justice Catastor attacks, Ally of Justice Catastor's effect is chain 1 and Vylon Disigma's effect is chain 2. Vylon Disigma's effect destroys Ally of Justice Catastor. Then, Ally of Justice Catastor destroys Vylon Disigma.[3]
- Vylon Disigma's effect is activated at the Start of the Damage Step. Furthermore, if it battles a face-down Defense Position monster, Vylon Disigma's effect is not activated.[4]
