TCG Rulings
- This effect activates even when your opponent Normal Summons or Special Summons a monster to his side of the field.[1]
- If multiple monsters are Special Summoned at once, as long as at least 1 of them is a Level 4 or lower Thunder-Type monster the effect of Wattcannon will activate.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The damage-inflicting effect of "Wattcannon" always activates and starts a Chain Link when the monster is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned.[2]
