TCG Rulings
- You can Synchro Summon this card using EARTH Tuner monsters as “1 or more EARTH monsters.”[1]
- You can Tribute “XX-Saber” monsters to activate this effect because they are also “X-Saber” monsters.[1]
OCG Rulings
- Tributing one "X-Saber" monster is a cost to activate the effect of "XX-Saber Gottoms". You can Tribute a face-down "X-Saber" monster.[2]
- "XX-Saber" contains "X-Saber" in it, so "XX-Saber" monsters are also "X-Saber" monsters. You can Tribute a "XX-Saber" monster to activate the effect of "XX-Saber Gottoms". Also, "XX-Saber Faultroll" can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower "XX-Saber" monster from your Graveyard.[3]
- When Synchro Summoning "XX-Saber Gottoms", you can use EARTH Tuner Monsters for the "1 or more EARTH Monsters".[4]
