What about in general Fusion, Ritual, and other various cards that require you to through out of the graveyard? Can you use monster reborn on them? Because it was my understanding that for them stuff like Re-Fusion and Fulfillment of the Contract were created. Although i'm still not clear on such things like; Vampire Genesis, Fenir, Aqua Maiden, Selphied etc.—-– —This unsigned comment was made by Maha-chan (talkcontribs) 15:29, 15 June 2008

Can you still use revving card such as monster reborn to those monster that is sent to the graveyard that states " this card can only be special summoned by .... "(provided you fulfill the summoning conditions)??? —This unsigned comment was made by 122.55.67.21 (talkcontribs) 12:51, 16 March 2009

It's better to ask questions on the Forum, since more people visit there. Also, remember to sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~, since that automatically creates a signature for you.
To Maha-Chan:
In general, Fusion/Ritual monsters can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard if they have been properly Fusion/Ritual Summoned beforehand. "Contact Fusion" monsters (like "Elemental Hero Aqua Neos"/"XYZ-Dragon Cannon"/"Gladiator Beast Gyzarus") can be Special Summoned if they have been Special Summoned by their conditions beforehand. Monsters that "cannot be Special Summoned except by" {something} (like "Dark Paladin") cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, regardless of how they got there.
To both of you:
Monsters (like "Fenrir"/"Silpheed") that "card can only be Special Summoned by" {something} can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, provided that they were properly Special Summoned beforehand. Monster (like "Vampire Genesis") whose that "cannot be Special Summoned except by" {something} cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, regardless of how they got there.
