TCG Ruling[edit]

Proposal: There should be a posted TCG ruling regarding the effects of Scrap Dragon and his effect regarding summon negation. Given the number of nuances that tend to separate the OCG and TCG I think this is worthy of its own entry on the page; as the argument "It says it's okay in the OCG" should not be the proper approval for a card effect in the TCG. Whether the ruling is the same or not I think clarification is due to TCG players; we shouldn't be assessing the rulings of the OCG for our cards if the point is sometimes they are going to be different.

Question[edit]

If the summons of Tricorn, Bicorn, and/or Scrap Dragon are negated by the effects of Royal Oppression, Solemn Warning or Solemn Judgment do they trigger their destruction effects anyway even after not having been properly summoned? It is a known TCG ruling that negating the summon of a synchro monster means it was not properly summoned and never touched the field of play. Rozonkomo (talkcontribs) 04:43, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

  1. Only sourced and official ruling quotes are allowed in the rulings pages. We don't just make them up and put it in, even if it's true. See Project:Card Rulings for more information.
  2. Talk Pages are only for the discussion on how to improve the article. Ruling questions should be asked on the Rulings Queries Forum -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 05:06, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

If you select your facedown Mystical Space Typhoon as your target for scrap dragon's effect, can you chain it?
