Card Tips:Archfiend of Gilfer
- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Painful Escape", "Transmodify", "Broken Blocker", "Rescue Ferret", "Pandemonium", "Archfiend Heiress", "Archfiend Palabyrinth", "Skilled Red Magician", "Chaos Zone" and "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World".
- "Foolish Burial" can be used to send this card to the Graveyard to instantly activate its effect.
- This card can be used in a "Twilight" Deck since it can be easily milled by "Lightsworn" monsters and to Summon "Chaos" monsters.
- Also, when it is sent to the Graveyard, it can decrease the ATK of an opponents' monster, allowing for a greater field advantage,
- "Archfiend's Roar" can be used to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard and due to the effect of "Archfiend's Roar", it'll be destroyed during the End Phase thus activated its effect.
- This card can be combo with "Falling Down", since the requirement for it is to have an "Archfiend" card on the field. Even if this card if being treated as an Equip Spell Card, it is still an "Archfiend" card.
- Use this card to pay for the cost of some cards, such as "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast", "Little Fairy", "Gagaga Gardna", "A Feather of the Phoenix", and so on. However, don't use it for cards like "Lightning Vortex", as that'll defeat the purpose of its effect if there are no monsters to equip it to.
- This card can be helpful in the Summoning of Rank 6 Xyz Monsters, as its effect will still trigger when its detached, since it'll still go to the Graveyard regardless, thereby activating it.
- This card can be combined with "Power Tool Dragon", so that every time "Archfiend of Gilfer" gets sent to the Graveyard by the effect of "Power Tool", it can be brought back, thus creating a powerful defense.
- Note that the ATK of "Power Tool" will be 1800, so leave it in Defense Position or increase its ATK with Equip Spell Cards.
