• This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.

• This card works well with "Fox Fire", because it will die, your opponent take 500 damage, then it will revive itself, just to be destroyed all over again.

• Combine this card with "Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective".

• Use this card with 3 "UFO Turtles" and 3 "Masked Dragons" or "Unmasked Dragons" and have them attack monsers with a little more attack to be capable of doing 3500 effect damage (or 5600 with a "Dark Room of Nightmare") in one battle phase for each "Backfire" you control! With 3 "Backfires" you can deal up to 10500 damage from one battle phase! Repeat the process by using "Pot of Avarice".

• Use this card in combination with "Volcanic Counter" while another FIRE monster is in your Graveyard.

• You can use "Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness" to destroy "Manticore of Darkness", then Special Summon it from the Graveyard by sending "Archfiend Eater" to the Graveyard. Keep destroying "Manticore of Darkness" to OTK your opponent.
