- This card works very well in "Harpie" decks against non-WIND decks. You may block your opponent's special summons if they do not control WIND monsters.
- This card works very well in "Floowandereeze" decks, as they can easily search it out with "Floowandereeze & Robina" and can Normal Summon it from the hand via the effects of the many "Floowandereeze" cards which lets them immediately Normal Summon after their effects resolve.
- Use "Swallow's Nest" to special summon this card from your deck when your opponent activates an effect that Special Summons a monster.
- By summoning any of the other "Barrier Statue" cards, you can prevent both players from Special Summoning monsters entirely.
