Card Tips:Blood Mefist
- Combine this with "Dark Room of Nightmare" or "Chain Energy" to inflict even more damage when your opponent Sets cards.
- Use "Give and Take" to Summon this card to your opponent's field and Summon "Black-Winged Dragon" during your opponent's turn. You gain one counter during your Standby Phase, then as many Counters you can get from Setting cards.
- Beware, as, disregarding monster effect, this card has 2800 ATK to start with.
- Another great Deck strategy is to combine the efforts of both "Black-Winged Dragon" and "Blood Mefist" to deal damage to your opponent while preventing yourself from effect damage.
- This card is best against Stall Decks, since they rely more on setting cards.
- It can also help Stall Decks by inflicting damage to opponent while defending.
- An "Iron Chain" Deck is the most recommended Deck for this card, as it includes cards that can stall while others can pile on the damage.
- A combo of "Ojama Trio", "Xing Zhen Hu" and "Spatial Collapse" can totally lock down your opponent's turns, in addition to inflicting damage with this card's effect.
- Pile on the damage with cards like "Mask of the Accursed", "Nightmare Wheel" or "Fiendish Chain" (which can also be great support for this type of Deck).
- Cards like "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" or "Gravity Bind" can almost always insure this monster's survival when it hits the field (although, "Gravity Bind" will prevent "Blood Mefist" from attacking unless another effect downgrades its Level to 3 or below).
- "Swords of Revealing Light" and "Nightmare's Steelcage" can prevent your opponent from attacking with a stronger monster.
- "Sanguine Swamp" can insure your opponent cannot activate any Set cards for 1 or 2 turns, though it will only work if this is the only card in the Spell & Trap Zone, and you do not have a card in your Field Zone.
- Use "Anti-Spell Fragrance" to force your opponent into Setting Spell Cards.
- "Xing Zhen Hu" or "Xing Zhen Hu Replica" can prevent your opponent from activating their Set cards, so that you can continue to inflict damage.
- This card can inflict massive damage against "Infernity" Decks and "Fire Fist" Decks, since they tend to commit a lot of cards to the board, especially by Setting Spells and Traps.
- Combine this card with "Black Garden". Summon this monster while your opponent is flooded by "Rose Token" to inflict burn damage for each Token they control.
