- This card can be searched by "Lyrilusc - Recital Starling", "Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow", "Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen", "Swallow's Cowrie", "Floowandereeze & Robina", "Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg", "Swallow's Nest", "Tri-Brigade Airborne Assault", "Kittytail, Mystical Beast of the Forest", "Ninjitsu Art of Transformation", "Animadorned Archosaur", "Vortex the Whirlwind", "Gizmek Makami, the Ferocious Fanged Fortress", "Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy", "Chaos Zone", "Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity", "Mystic Potato", "Mystic Tomato", "One for One", "Where Arf Thou?", "Jack-In-The-Hand", "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", "Small Scuffle", "Mimiclay", "Packet Link", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card works well when chained to cards that your opponent uses, such as "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner", "Call of the Haunted", "Masked Chameleon", "Treeborn Frog", "Magician of Faith", "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Spirit", "Magical Stone Excavation", "Stardust Dragon" etc.
- Use this card while your opponent has a "Necro Gardna" in their Graveyard and make sure they won't be able to negate an attack from one of your monsters.
- If your deck has other dark attribute monsters with an attack of 1500 or less you can run two or three Dark Eruption cards to re-utilize this card again without having to sacrifice more deck space for multiple copies of it.
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be searched by "Last Will".
- When your opponent Tribute Summons "The Tyrant Neptune" using a "Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale", use this card's effect to banish "Independent Nightingale" from your opponent's Graveyard, rendering their Ace Monster useless. Since this card is a Hand Trap, your opponent going first will not be much of an issue.
- This card works well when chained to cards your opponent uses such as "Premature Burial", "Dark Magician of Chaos", "Monster Reborn" and "Pot of Avarice".
