- This card can be searched by "Mixeroid", "Dragonroid", "Megaroid City", "Super Vehicroid - Mobile Base", "Fusion Deployment", "Fusion Conscription", "Fusion Reserve", "Gear Gigant X", "Infinitrack River Stormer", "Clockwork Night", "Machina Metalcruncher", "Urgent Schedule", "Geargiauger", "Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf", "Machina Armored Unit", "Psychic Arsenal", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", and other generic searchers.
- This card is excellent even in non-"Vehicroid" or non-Machine Decks. It can blow through strong defensive monsters or monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle, and since they are destroyed by effect rather than by battle, effects that trigger on battle destruction won't work. The only problem with this card is that it must flip face-up the monster it attacks first, so it cannot get around flip effects.
- Use "Drillroid" in conjunction with cards like, "Stumbling", "Curse of Anubis", "No Entry!!", etc.
- Equip this card with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce". Since its ATK strength doesn't matter when using its effect, this card may as well be used to clear the field if the opponent is stalling. "Miracle Locus", "Double Attack" or "Wonder Clover" can also be used.
- Use "Swords of Concealing Light" to switch your opponent's monsters into Defense Position for two turns.
- Activate "Ojama Trio". Your opponent will take 300 damage for each Token destroyed- whether by battle or otherwise.
- Activate "Earthquake" before Summoning this card to destroy any monster your opponent controls.
- This card works well with "Lineage of Destruction", while you control another monster with a Level 8.
- This is good against Superheavy Samurai Deck.
