- This effect shouldn't just be used for Fusion Summons. It can also be used for cards like "Burst Stream of Destruction" and "Dark Magic Attack".
- Since this card sent the monster to the Graveyard as a cost for its effect, this allows it to dump any monster mentioned as a material to the GY and bypass any common negation effects.
- In a strictly-"Elemental HERO" Deck, either "Elemental HERO Darkbright" or "Elemental HERO Necroid Shaman" can be revealed, and then this card's effect can send "Elemental HERO Necroshade", which can also enable yourself to use the effect of "Necroshade".
- This effect can also be used in conjunction with "Elemental HERO Neos" and "O - Oversoul" to Special Summon a powerful Normal Monster from your Deck.
- This card also can mimic "Elemental HERO Neos" in a "Neo-Spacian" Deck, avoiding a loss of advantage in Summoning "Neos".
- This card's effect can be used to make it "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" so that it can be Tributed to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" by revealing either "Meteor Black Dragon" or "Black Skull Dragon" in your Extra Deck.
- Along with the above, "Prisma" can provide either material for "Red-Eyes Slash Dragon" at your convenience. "Prisma" can then be equipped to "Slash Dragon", to provide a backup plan.
- Combine this card with "XYZ-Dragon Cannon" and its counterparts to send Union monsters to the Graveyard, and then Special Summon them with "Roll Out!".
- "Prisma" can also be used as a substitute for the various "A-to-Z" Fusion Materials using this method.
- Reveal "Flame Ghost" or "Zombie Warrior" and send "Skull Servant" to the Graveyard to power up "King of the Skull Servants".
- This card is very useful in a "Gladiator Beast" Deck. Reveal "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus" and send "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" to the Graveyard while there are any "Gladiator Beast" monsters on your field. Then, Contact Fuse "Gyzarus", after attacking with "Gyzarus", "Gladiator Beast Darius" and "Gladiator Beast Laquari" can be Special Summoned by returning "Gyzarus" to your Extra Deck. Next, Special Summon "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" with the effect of "Darius", and then Fusion Summon "Gladiator Beast Heraklinos".
- Alternatively, with just Prisma", send "Bestiari" to your Graveyard, and then Special Summon "Test Tiger" from your hand with its own effect. Tribute it to return "Prisma" to your Deck and Special Summon "Darius", using its effect to Special Summon "Bestiari". Then Contact Fusion Summon "Gyzarus".
- In a "Destiny HERO" Deck, reveal "Destiny End Dragoon" and send either Fusion Material to the Graveyard. Then "Over Destiny" can be used to Special Summon any Level 4 or lower "Destiny HERO" monster from your Deck.
- Reveal "Armityle the Chaos Phantasm" to send "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" or reveal "Multi Piece Golem" to send "Big Piece Golem" to the Graveyard to combo with "Dark Calling" to pump up "Evil HERO Dark Gaia".
- "Prisma" and "King of the Swamp" can be used to Fusion Summon some Fusion Monsters without actually needing any of the real Fusion Materials.
- Reveal "Arcana Knight Joker", then send "Queen's Knight" so it can act as a substitute for the effect of "King's Knight".
- This card can send various "roid" monsters to the Graveyard, which can then be added back to the hand by "Expressroid".
- This card can dump the "Ojama" monsters (by revealing "Ojama King"), ready to be added back to the hand by "Dark Factory of Mass Production" and "Backup Soldier", or Special Summoned using "Tri-Wight" or "Junk Synchron".
- Using this card to substitute for "Aleister the Invoker" can give yourself two potential Fusion Summons in the same turn, although a Link monster will be needed to get both out.
- In a Dark Magician deck, use this with The Eye of Timaeus to bring out Fusion Monsters like "Dark Paladin" quickly.
- This card's effect can easily summon "Phantom of Yubel" by revealing "Elemental HERO Neos Kluger" to dump "Yubel" into the Graveyard and copy its name.
