- This card can be searched by "Chaos Space", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", "Iron Knight", "Exchange of Night and Day", "Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous", "Chaos Zone", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card is a "Nomi" monster due to the "This card cannot be Special Summoned except" line in its card text. Because of this you may need return this card to the hand as you Special Summon this card from the Graceyard. Use "The Warrior Returning Alive" for this to quickly Summon this card again.
- Activate "Double-Edged Sword Technique" to Special Summon two Six Samurai monsters from your Graveyard, preferably "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai" and a Level 3 Six Samurai monster. Then Special Summon "Great Shogun Shien" and Synchro Summon "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En". With the two monsters sent to the Graveyard before your End Phase, you will take no Battle Damage and will now have monsters to banish to Special Summon this card.
- You can Special Summon this card easily by Tuning "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai" and "Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki" to Synchro Summon "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En" and then banish the two to put this card on the field.
Traditional Format[edit]
- Use this card with "Return from the Different Dimension" to Special Summon the two Six Samurai monsters banished to Summon this card. Then, you can Special Summon "Great Shogun Shien" and "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" from your hand.
