• Normal Summon a Level 4 DARK monster and use the effect of "Kagetokage" to Special Summon it from your hand to instantly Xyz Summon this card.

• This card can be Xyz Summoned by using "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" on "Number 96: Dark Mist", "Number 65: Djinn Buster" or "Number 43: Manipulator of Souls".

• In a "Dark World" Deck, this card can be combined with "Dark World Lightning" to stall your opponent when they Special Summon a monster, destroy that monster and take advantage upon discarding a "Dark World" monster.

• This card can easily be Xyz Summoned in a "Blackwing" Deck, with "Blackwing - Bora the Spear" or "Zephyros the Elite".
  • The effect of "Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame" can also be used to Special Summon "Kochi the Daybreak" from your Deck, and overlay them to Xyz Summon this card.

• Use "Summoner Monk" to Special Summon a Level 4 DARK monster from your Deck and Xyz Summon this card.

• This card can be played in a "Gravekeeper's" Deck, that plays mostly Level 4 DARK monsters.
  • This card can be very easily Xyz Summoned by using two "Gravekeeper's Spy". Also "Spy" can be splashed in some non-"Gravekeeper's" Decks.

• Use "Rescue Rabbit" to Special Summon two Level 4 DARK Normal Monsters to Xyz Summon this card.

• After using this card's effect, "Nobleman of Crossout" can be used to destroy and banish the flipped monsters.

• This card is useful to kill monsters with an high ATK, but a low DEF like "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" or "Steelswarm Roach", or even "Ally of Justice Catastor" if there is a monster with at least 1300 ATK
  • Note that: if a face-down "Ally of Justice Catastor" is attacked by a non-DARK monster, the effect of "Catastor" doesn't trigger after being flipped because the timing of its activation is at the very start of the Damage Step, before return monsters face-up.

• This card's effect can be used on a monster after being Summoned by "Junk Synchron", "Synchron Explorer", "Debris Dragon" etc. to stop the possibility of a Synchro Summon.
