- This card can be searched by "Orcust Crescendo", "Qliphort Genius", "Machina Armored Unit", "Psychic Arsenal", "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden", "Dwarf Star Dragon Planeter", "Magical Contract Door", "Chaos Zone", "Additional Mirror Level 7", "Link Party", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston", "Superheavy Samurai Big Waraji", "Chronomaly Mayan Machine" and "The First Monarch".
- If you Special Summon this card, its attack is 2800, but you can also summon it normally as a 1400-attack monster or Tribute Summon it to get around its effect.
- The effect of "Kashtira Birth" can be used to normal summon this card without Tribute and allows this card to retain its full ATK stats.
- If you Summoned this card without Tribute, and then "Skill Drain" is later activated, the ATK and DEF are no longer halved. If "Skill Drain" is later destroyed, the ATK and DEF still remain at 2800 and 2000.
- If this card was summoned without Tribute, you can use "Forbidden Chalice" to make its ATK 3200. After the effect of "Forbidden Chalice" resolves, the ATK and DEF of this card goes back to 2800 and 2000.
- This card works well with "The Calculator".
- If this monster is Set, its ATK and DEF are not halved while face-down, making it an ideal Tribute for "Deck Devastation Virus" or "Eradicator Epidemic Virus".
- Use with "Ectoplasmer" and inflict 1400 damage.
- You can use "Alchemy Cycle", "Machine Duplication" and "Limiter Removal" to dish out a ton of damage with your 2 new "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual Mode Beasts".
- The above combo is likely to generate an OTK
- If the above combo fails, 2 of the "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beasts" can also be overlaid to Xyz Summon "Number 11: Big Eye", before they are destroyed by the effect of "Limiter Removal".
- Get 2 Tributes for this card by Special Summoning "The Tricky", and discarding "Plaguespreader Zombie" to revive it, as if you were trying to bring a Level 7 Synchro
- This card may be Special Summoned with no Tributes or penalties right from your Deck with "Reasoning" or "Monster Gate". "Beast King Barbaros" also works well in this combo.
- The above combo is strong in an Aggro Deck, together with "Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon".
- Summon using it's effect and with "Machina Armored Unit" to bring out "Jinzo", because "Machina Armored Unit's" effect activates in the graveyard.
- After Summoning this monster with no Tribute, use "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" to banish and get it back later, thus reseting its effect. This way, your opponent should contend with that colossal monster.
- This card, along with "Beast King Barbaros" works well in a Fortune Lady deck, because of the effect of "Future Visions".
- Equip it with "Axe of Fools" after Normal Summoning it without Tributes to have a 3800 ATK Beatstick.
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card also works well with "Metamorphosis" due to its high level.* Due to its high level, this card can be used to deal moderate damage using "Dark Strike Fighter's" effect.* Using "Miniaturize" or "Shooting Star Bow - Ceal" on this card will allow you to use "Machine Duplication" to get two more without halved attack. It may also be Tributed for "Crush Card Virus" with this combo.
