- This card can slow down or even stop X-Sabers and Naturia by stopping them from attacking her. Getting her early in the duel can really help. Also helps against other pure-attribute decks, such as Lightsworns, DARK decks, etc.
- You can discard "Quillbolt Hedgehog" when you activate this card's effect, then Special Summon that "Quillbolt Hedgehog" using its effect and Synchro Summon for a level 5 Synchro Monster.

- This card can be searched by "Last Will".
- This card is great in an Ice Barrier deck, as it is one of the few cards that has stalling power on its own. If you don't draw into something like a "Double Summon" or "Water Hazard", but you top deck "Geomancer", you can simply create an attack lock until you are able to summon a level 3 or 4, to make "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" or "Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", or until you're able to pull out two monsters to create "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier".
