- This card is great for countering popular Extra Deck monsters, such as "Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer", "Firewall Dragon", etc, since it is more likely that the opponent will also include the same card in their Side Deck.
- This card can be useful in a Mirror Match, as probably each player will have copies of the same Extra Deck monsters.
- After this effect has resolved, the result can be countered by using "Pot of Acquisitiveness" to return the banished monsters.
- Ironically, this card is a great counter for protecting an Extra Deck monster against an opposing copy of this card, if its effect is used before that other copy.
- "Millennium-Eyes Restrict" or "Called by the Grave" can be chained to this card's activation, targeting it in the Graveyard and appyling its effect to this card's name, negating it at its resolution.
