Card Tips:Gigaplant

- This card can be searched by "Lonefire Blossom", "Aromaseraphy Jasmine", "Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light", "Rose Bell of Revelation", "Rose Paladin", "Kittytail, Mystical Beast of the Forest", "Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves", "Violet Witch", "Woodland Archer", "Gemini Ablation", "Chemicritter Carbo Crab", "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- "Lonefire Blossom" can be used to easily summon "Gigaplant" to the field. Then, if you are still able to Normal Summon, you can then Normal Summon "Gigaplant" and use its effect to revive "Lonefire Blossom" and use it to fetch another "Gigaplant".
- "Gigaplant" can be used to reload a tribute for "Insect Queen" to attack, such as using "Skull-Mark Ladybug" for the attack, and each time you tribute "Skull-Mark Ladybug", you will gain 1000 lifepoints.
- Having two "Gigaplants" on the field is incredibly effective because if one is destroyed the other can bring it back.
- As a Gemini monster, "Gigaplant" can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with "Birthright", "Silent Doom" or "Swing of Memories" (although it will only last one round with the last one). You can then Normal Summon it and use its effect.
- Use "Swing of Memories" to Special Summon "Blazewing Butterfly" and second summon it that same turn. Then use it's effect to Special Summon "Gigaplant" from your graveyard and use it's effect to get "Blazewing" back or another Plant/Insect monster from your graveyard or hand.
- By using its effect to summon "Copy Plant" or "Nettles", you can easily Synchro Summon monsters like "Black Rose Dragon" and "Stardust Dragon" to clear the field or negate your opponent's card effects.
- "Gigaplant" is very useful in combination with cards such as "Tytannial, Princess of Camellias", "Pollinosis" and "Gigantic Cephalotus".
- One such example is by using "Lonefire Blossom" to summon "Gigaplant" from your deck, activating "Gigaplant's" effect (this can usually be done with a card effect or getting out the "Lonefire Blossom" during your opponent's turn and making sure it lives with "UFO Turtle") to bring back that "Lonefire Blossom", tribute that "Lonefire Blossom" for "Tytannial, Princess of Camellias", and then equipping "Supervise" to "Gigaplant" so that you can use that "Gigaplant" for "Tytannial's" effect and get "Supervise's" effect.
- Using the "Gigaplant" and "Lonefire Blossom" combo, you can easily pull off a swarm with "Gigaplant" and "Tytannial, Princess of Camellias" and an easy "OTK"
- This also works with "Superalloy Beast Raptinus" and "Blazewing Butterfly", as you can continually summon "Lonefire Blossom" with each summoned "Gigaplant" then resurrect any Gemini monsters you please with "Blazewing Butterfly". In this set-up, as long as you have at least one "Gigaplant" or "Blazewing Butterfly" and "Superalloy Beast Raptinus", you can fill your monster zones back again even after a "Mirror Force".
- When equipped with "Supervise", "Gigaplant's" effect can be used twice for that turn only. When sent to the graveyard, you summon it once more.
- You can easily get out an "Earthbound Immortal Uru" with the effect of "Gigaplant".
- The effect of "Shield Worm" includes Milling cards from your opponent's deck when this card is summoned any way, so use a "Anti-Aircraft Flower" or "Insect Queen" to destroy it, then the effect of "Gigaplant" can Special Summon it back on the field to Mill again.
- Combine this with DNA Surgery to easily Mill up to five cards per turn.
Traditional Format[edit]
- Combine with "Card of Safe Return" to draw a card every time you Special Summon from the graveyard.
