Card Tips:Heart of the Underdog
- This card can be searched by "Rogue of Endymion", "Watch Cat", "Watch Dog", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- You can draw again as long as you drew one or more Normal Monsters during your Draw Phase, even if it's by other card effect. Use cards like "Reload", "Reckless Greed", or "Hand Destruction" to extend the draw loop.
- This card works wonders for an Exodia Deck, since the four Exodia limbs are also Normal Monsters. Fill the Deck with as many Normal Monsters as possible to keep the draw loop going for as long as possible. However, this combo leaves very little room for utility as every card that isn't a Normal Monster will risk stopping the draw loop.
- Combo with "Solemn Wishes" to get a lot of LP from the cards you're drawing.
- Include this card in an "Elemental HERO" Deck if you use several copies of the various "HERO" Normal Monsters.
- You can even use multiples of this card to increase the amount of cards you draw each time you end with a Normal Monster because it will only need the last card to be a Normal Monster to activate all of their effects again.
- This card works well with "Final Destiny" in a Normal Monster Deck, as it can allow the player to get the required number of cards to clear the field and still have cards left over to use.
- As the "Igknight" archetype is largely comprised of Normal Pendulum Monsters, you can use this card to potentially garner a good amount of hand advantage, especially since Pendulum Summoning can consume much of the hand's resources.
