Card Tips:Hyper Psychic Blaster/Assault Mode
- This card can be searched by "Assault Mode Activate", "Assault Reboot", "Psi-Reflector", "Doctor Cranium", and other generic searchers.
- If this card is in your hand, use "Card Trader" or any other card that could shuffle this card back into the Deck, once "Assault Mode Activate" only Special Summons the /Assault Mode monster from the Deck.
- This card is a great counter to an Arcana Force Deck. It's also useful against high defense decks, such as Rock decks.
- Against opponents who use decks that have monsters with relatively low DEF, however, this card does less burn damage than its original version's Piercing Damage would do. If your opponent is using a card effect like "Spirit Barrier" that prevents battle damage, however, this card's burn damage (and Life Point gain) will be quite useful.
- Use this card in conjunction with "Lava Golem", "Volcanic Queen" or "Grinder Golem".
- If you have this card on your field when you clear the field, with a card like "Black Rose Dragon", you'll both clear the field and attack your opponent's life points directly with the non-/Assault Mode version of this card.
- In a Psychic deck you can use this card in conjunction with "Psychic Snail" to attack twice.
- This card can be Synchro summoned easily using "Overdrive Teleporter" to summon "Psychic Commander", since their combined levels are 9.
- "Emergency Teleport" is a vital piece in helping to summon your /Assault Mode monster. You can Special Summon a level 3 Psychic monster, and then normal summon a level 6 monster (either "Armored Axon Kicker", or "Overdrive Teleporter") and eventually be able to Synchro summon "Hyper Psychic Blaster".
- Alternatively, with the right setup, you can use the Spell card to summon "Risebell the Star Adjuster", increase its level to 6, and normal summon "Psychic Commander".
