- This card can be searched by "Infernity Paranoia", "Infernity Archfiend", "Soul Resonator", "Resonator Command", "Ariane the Labrynth Servant", "Frightfur Meister", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Creeping Darkness", "Dark General Freed", "Mystic Potato", "Mystic Tomato", "Chaos Zone", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", and other generic searchers.
- Use "Full Salvo" to send all cards in your hand to the Graveyard and inflict damage to your opponent and satisfy the conditions for this card's effect.
- While this card is in face-up Defense Position, equip it with "Ring of Magnetism" to make this card the only target for your opponent's attacks.
- Even better, you can equip this card with "Metalsilver Armor" and "Raregold Armor". It will be the only target of your opponent's attacks and effects and won't be destroyed by them (but it will still be affected by effects that won't destroy it). Also while having a face-up "Phantom Hand" you can banish all cards in your hand to make an almost unbeatable combo (to protect these spell and traps from being destroyed you can use "Magic Reflector").
- If you play this card face-down and you have no cards in your hand, this card will still be destroyed with destruction effects, as the text states that this card must be "face-up" to gain its effect.
- You can remedy this by playing "Infernity Guardian" card in face-up Attack position (Especially with "Mystic Tomato"). You may take battle damage, but this card can be switched to Defense position later.
- This card is a good target for "Hundred Eyes Dragon's" effect. If you have no cards in your hand, banish "Infernity Guardian" in your graveyard to give him protection from destruction effects and "Honest" for one turn. It's also a Fiend, so it can be used to Synchro Summon "Hundred Eyes Dragon".
- A good combo with this card is playing "Rope of Life". Since you'll remain handless because of "Rope of Life's" cost, this card's effect will be immediately applied, along with the extra 800 ATK boost.
- Combo this card with cards that clear both sides of the field such as "Demise, King of Armageddon", "Black Rose Dragon" or "Final Destiny". This card's effect will allow you to make a direct attack after you've used those effects.
- You can use "Arsenal Summoner" and "Infernity Archfiend" to add this card from your deck to your hand.
