- This card is useful against cards like "D.D. Crow", "Effect Veiler", "Maxx "C"", "Flying "C"", "Honest", "Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow", "Bujingi Crane", "Galaxy Tyranno", "Gishki Shadow" and "Vision", "Dragon Rulers" "Battle Fader", "Swift Scarecrow", "Rainbow Kuriboh", the Level 1 "Ghostrick" monsters, "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness" and "Tragoedia".
- This card works extremely well in "Infernity" decks, as you need no hand and therefore cannot use the above cards, but it will shut down your opponent from using them against you.
- Side this card against "Mermail" decks, to prevent them using the effect of their boss monsters, which discards cards from the hand to Special Summon themselves.
- This card can be sided against "Prophecy"/"Spellbook" decks, to prevent them from using the effect of their boss monster, "High Priestess of Prophecy", which reveals cards from the hand to Special Summon itself.
