Card Tips:Number 83: Galaxy Queen
General[edit]
- "Spirit Barrier" works well with this card as not only will your monsters not be destroyed by battle but you will now take no damage if your opponent attacks while you're in attack position.* You can use this card in combination with cards that prevent destruction by effect to make your monsters virtually immortal.* This card works especially well if you have powerful monsters on the field without the Piercing effect, such as "Five-Headed Dragon" or "Dragon Master Knight", and even more so if you have "Card Rotator" active on the field.
Xyz Summoning[edit]
- Use either "One for One", "Graceful Revival" or "Limit Reverse" alongside "Inferno Reckless Summon" or "Machine Duplication to Special Summon 3 Level 1 monsters then Xyz Summon this card.* Use "Rekindling" and special summon 3 Level 1 FIRE monsters with 200 DEF or less from your Graveyard to easily meet the summon requirement for this monster. "Laval Volcano Handmaiden" works best to give you greater card advantage as it will get its effect when sent to the Graveyard for the effect of this Xyz Monster card.* You can use "Photon Veil" to add three "Watapon" to your hand and Special Summon them, thus allowing you to overlay them for this card.
- "Kurivolt" can also help summoning this card while there are other Xyz Monsters on the field.* In a Frognarchs deck, this card can be brought out with "Treeborn Frog", "Battle Fader" and "Effect Veiler".* Use in a "Goblin" Deck, as the monsters have high ATK and low DEF, and switch into Defense Position after they attack.* Normal Summon a strong monster, which allows you to Special Summon at least 3 copies of "Turbo Booster", afterward, use the Special Summoned monsters to Xyz Summon this card. In the result, this card can borrow the strong monster for its effect.* "Tri-Wight" can easily gather the correct number of monsters required, while activating "Mischief of the Yokai" will bring all such monsters down to Level 1.* "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" or "Naturia Cherries" can help gather Materials for this card.* You can use "Gagaga Magician" or "Flelf", with their effects and raise their Levels to 7 to Special Summon three "Level Eater" from your Graveyard that can then be used to meet the summoning conditions of "Number 83: Galaxy Queen".* Special Summon "Unknown Synchron" by its own effect, then activate "Machine Duplication" or "Inferno Reckless Summon" to get 2 other copy from your deck and Xyz Summon this card.* Activate the effect of "Gladiator Beast Secutor" to Special Summon 2 "Gladiator Beast Retiari" or "Gladiator Beast Samnite", then use "Double Tag Team" to summon a third, then use "Mischief of the Yokai" to lower their Levels to 1. You can then Xyz Summon this card and use it to protect your "Gladiator Beast" monsters from being destroyed by battle, allowing them to activate their tagging out effects much more easily.* "D-Boyz" can be used to easily Xyz Summon this card.* "Vylon" decks can Xyz Summon this card easily using 3 "Vylon Sphere", which can be gathered easily via "Vylon Element".
- This card is best used for supporting either "Vylon Alpha" or "Vylon Omega". Alpha can benefit from this card's battle immunity effect, making it almost virtually indestructible (except via Monster Effects), while Omega can benefit from this card's Piercing effect due to its high-ATK and monster effect negation, but unable to handle most "indestructible by battle" monsters such as "Gellenduo" (This is especially useful because you will not need "Vylon Component" to do so, leaving your Spell & Trap Zone for more useful Equip Cards or possibly "Starlight Road").* By banishing a Level 1 monster from the Graveyard by the effect of "Gagaga Caesar", you can change the level of all present "Gagaga" monsters to Level 1, thereby overlaying three of them to Xyz Summon this card.
- Or, a simpler version, have one "Gagaga Magician" and two "Gagaga Girls" on the field, change "Gagaga Magician's" level to Level 1 with his effect, change the two "Gagaga Girls" to Level 1 by their effect, and overlay them to summon this card. On top of that, "Gagaga Girl's" second effect will kick in, reducing any Specially Summoned monster's Attack to zero, creating the potential for even more damage (however, only one "Gagaga Girl" can use her second effect, even if two or more are used for one Xyz Summon, so you can't use it more that once).* If you have one or two Level 1 monsters on the field, Where Arf Thou? can fetch another.
