Card Tips:Overwhelm
- This card can be searched by "Guiding Ariadne", "Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath", and other generic searchers.
- Normal Summon "Behemoth the King of All Animals" or "Evil HERO Malicious Edge" using one Tribute, per their ability. Since they are still a Level 7 monster that was Tribute Summoned, you can now activate this card.
- This card can be used with any "Earthbound Immortal" monster, making it so that the opponent would only be able to defend or counter-attack with Spell Cards. This is especially useful if the "Earthbound Immortal" was tribute summoned with a "Hardened Armed Dragon".
- This card can work in a "Koa’ki Meiru" deck, since "Valafar" and "Rooklord" are both the right level, and can be summoned with one tribute.
- Combine this card with "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" so that you can negate your opponent's spells too (although you cannot tribute summon "Horus" so you may need another high level monster too).
- To help in getting out higher leveled monsters, use tribute fodders such as "Treeborn Frog" or "Destiny HERO - Malicious", or you could use monsters that can count as two tributes for other particular cards like "Double Coston" and "Kaiser Sea Horse". Using "Mausoleum of the Emperor" however will not work since the monster is not considered Tribute Summoned.
- Use this card with "Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon", a Level 7 monster that can be Tribute Summoned with 1 Tribute.
- This card is perfect with Light and Darkness Dragon since it can negate Counter Traps which LaDD cannot, and you will always be tribute summoning LaDD.
- Use Totem Dragon so you can tribute summon Dragon monsters with one tribute.
- You can Special Summon Gilasaurus using it's effect, then Tribute Summon Super-Ancient Dinobeast or Sauropod Brachion, both of which are level 8, by tributing that Gilasaurus.
- In a Fabled Deck, this card can be used with "Fabled Dianaira" (being single-Tribute and Level 8), while the effect of "Dianaira" kills Spell Cards like "Dark Hole".
- The use is limited but combined with "Ultimate Offering" you can summon "Blizzard Princess" so during your opponemt's battle phase any other actions (the use of spells) won't get in the way and you can perserve Overwhelm for that turn too...
