• Use this monster to Xyz Summon "Performage Trapeze Magician". When it is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard, its effect can be used to Special Summon another "Performage" monster from your Deck, and this card's effect can also be used to Special Summon "Trapeze Magician" from your Graveyard, so its effect can be used to Special Summon even more "Performage" monsters from your Deck.

• The effect of "Performage Trapeze Magician" can be used to negate this cards effect damage, or use the effect of "Performage Flame Eater" to negate the damage and Special Summon it to the field and Xyz Summon "Trapeze Magician".

• This card combos phenomenally well with "Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades". "Trick Clown" can Special Summon itself (or any other Level 4 "Performage" monster), and then when 1000 damage is taken, "Thousand Blades" can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard, leading to an easy Rank 4 Xyz Summon.

• This card can combo with "Red Resonator" to Synchro Summon "Red Rising Dragon". Then use the effects of "Red Rising Dragon" and "Trick Clown" will Special Summon the Synchro Materials back. If the effect of "Red Rising Dragon" is allowed resolved last, the second effect of "Red Resonator" will not miss timing then be able to restore the LP lost from the effect of "Trick Clown". Then, Synchro Summon another "Red Rising Dragon" and activate that card's effect on the same "Red Resonator" you used to summon it. Now you can Synchro Summon for the third time, bringing out any Level 8 DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster of your choice. This combo however, has been deemed ineffective with Master Rule 4, without prior setup from a Link Monster the turn before.
  • The variation of this combo, not relying on any Link Monster setup, can only get you as far as the 2nd Synchro Summon and end up with one Level 8 DARK Dragon Synchro and a 0 ATK/DEF "Trick Clown" on the field.
