Card Tips:Prevention Star
- This card can be searched by "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Vylon Cube", "Power Tool Dragon", "Ashoka Pillar", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", "Vylon Delta", "Mikanko Rivalry", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", "Power Tool Braver Dragon", "Vylon Sigma", "Fairy Tail - Rella", "Courageous Crimson Chevalier Bradamante", "Glory of the Noble Knights", and other generic searchers.
- Cards such as "Axe Dragonute", "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress", "Destiny Hero - Dasher", "Total Defense Shogun", "Spear Dragon", "Goblin Attack Force", "Giant Orc" and "Goblin Elite Attack Force" can use their effects to change from face-up Attack Position to face-up Defense Position, allowing them to easily meet the requirements to be equipped with this card.
- "Stumbling" can be used to make almost all of a player's monsters they Normal Summon immediately eligible to be equipped with "Prevention Star".
- In a Spellcaster Deck, you can use this card while you have a face-up "Blast Magician". Normal Summon "Alchemist of Black Spells" and activate its effect to change it to face-up Defense Position. Thus, "Blast Magician" gains 1 Spell Counter. Equip "Alchemist of Black Spells" with "Prevention Star" and get another Spell Counter for "Blast Magician". Destroy "Alchemist of Black Spells" with the effect of "Blast Magician" and remove from play the opponent's selected monster with the effect of "Prevention Star". So, monsters with great ATK power or that cannot be destroyed by card effects are rendered useless and you can attack directly with "Blast Magician".
- In a Machine Deck, you can use a pretty similar effect. Normal Summon "Submarineroid". Activate "Limiter Removal" to double the ATK of "Submarineroid". Attack your opponent directly with the effect of "Submarineroid" and change it to face-up Defense Position at the end of Damage Step. Equip it with "Prevention Star". During the End Phase, "Submarineroid" is destroyed due to the effect of "Limiter Removal", thus triggering the effect of "Prevention Star".
- You could use this card in a Karakuri deck, thanks to the effects of Karakuri Showdown Castle, Karakuri Cash Cache, Karakuri Gold Dust etc.
