- Use this card on a "Cloudian" monster you control that is about to be destroyed by your opponents card effect.
- Play this card on "Cloudian - Nimbusman". Reducing his ATK by 2000 is more than worth it to clear your opponents field as a dedicated "Cloudian" deck can easily put him well over 5000.
- Combo this card with "Raging Cloudian" to clear out your opponent's powerful cards by targeting a card such as "Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon" and then self-destruct it by placing it in defense position. Revive it with "Raging Cloudian" to maintain field advantage.
- Decrease the ATK of a monster with this card, then tribute it for "Fog Control". It's likely that if your opponent still has cards, "Fog Control" will put enough Fog Counters on them to play "Diamond-Dust Cyclone".
